I am here to accompany you,
On your journey to heal your body and mind,
And help you unfold your potential,
So that you can take off.
Why Music Therapy?
Life challenges that you face cannot always be put into words. In music therapy, however, your innate musicality and creativity encourages you to identify your emotions and reconnect with yourself emotionally, physically, culturally and spiritually. Music therapy emphasizes the importance of nonverbal communication, and incorporates music and art into sessions as a way for participants to express things that might be impossible to express with words or sentences.
Music therapy is a strength-based somatic therapy that integrates musical experiences and nonverbal reciprocal communication into verbal therapy. Purposefully using the evidence-based aspects of music, a certified music therapist will support your journey of exploring yourself, fostering the connection and resilience, enriching your self-esteem, coping with stresses, and finding new ways of understanding old problems. No musical or artistic skills are required. Everyone can benefit from music therapy.
